I haven't seen the movie yet but the nifty thing about it is the farm house, which we've heard is in a few scenes, was the house Keely's Grandfather was born and raised in. While they filmed the movie everybody who know anything were sworn not to tell anybody about it. On a nice side note apparently Tom Cruise and the cast were at some local diner and Tom saw one of those donation jars for a family who had lost everything, so the story goes that he went to the ATM, took out a few grand and plopped it in there notifying the owner to take care of it asap. Kinda cool. Along the lines of Elvis choosing a young girl out of the crowd and promising to pay for her college.

I totally agree. Like the effects were cool in the beginning of the movie but the plot and other peices of the storyline were very weak. I've heard that it's a better movie if you have read the book (and we all know how much I like to read; so that's not happening). But still, half way threw the movie I was ready to turn it off. Also, who would let their child go off to a certain death because he's curious and wants to watch???? Don't worry... u guessed it, he's already at home waiting for dad to get their while sipping a nice hot cup of coffee/tea!
