Back in mid March, Justin and I spent a day together just the two of us. Here’s an album of the best of the photos I took during that day. He’s adorable, and so fun and easy to be with. I loved every minute of it.

As difficult as it is for me every spring to go off to FL for 2 wks with my mother leaving Justin behind, it is nice to know Justin gets a chance to spend quality time with Auntie “Rah Rah” ( a nickname Amy gave to her big sister many years ago when she was Justin’s age) I get such a kick out of Sarah’s shared photos and know what a special time they have together. I am grateful Sarah can take the time off to be with her nephew.

One of my favorite things about this book is that in this fictional world there are names given to ideas that ought to have names in the real world. For instance, Diax's Rake is the idea that you shouldn't believe something just because you want to. The name itself isn't that important, but I like that Stephenson recognizes that some ideas deserve to be acknowledged.

Like GTA in the Old West, but so far, more interesting. I just hope that the buddy characters don't require the same kid-gloved hand-holding from GTA4.
