An image you thought you would never see….

Aaron and the lawn mower

It’s not Big Foot or the Loch Ness Monster, but almost as surprising – here’s a small folder of photos of Aaron out cutting our front lawn with our new electric lawn mower. Those of you who have known Aaron a while, will remember in his teenage days that mowing the lawn was potentially his least favorite chore. The good news is our yard is relatively small, and I think it would be fair to say that he doesn’t hate it the way he used to….he’s actually talking about fertilizing and seeding in the fall. :) My bet is that Rita (his mom) is chuckling right about now…

James and Chrissy – Movin’ on Up

Peter and James

James and Chrissy have purchased their first home, a 3 bedroom condo in southern Connecticut. Back in May, Aaron and I, along with Peter and some of James and Chrissy’s friends drove down to help with the move. As there are with all moves, there were a few issues – but the team rallied and a lot was accomplished in the two days. One of the bigger challenges was that James and Chrissy’s new place spans three floors and so getting some of the larger pieces up was challenging…there were many successes and a few – “well we needed 2 couches on the first floor anyway” moments – but once it was all in the place looked great. It was nice to be able to help James and pay him back a little for all the times he’s helped us move. Click on the photo of Peter and James above to see the small album of photos from the weekend.
