Snow in time for Christmas

Aaron and Sarah out in the snow

About a week before Christmas we got our first big snow storm of the season, which I for one was excited about. We got just under a foot of snow and it made everything white and beautiful. It felt very festive. Here are just a few photos we took out in the neighborhood while we were out shoveling once the storm was over. I do love New England in the winter time.

Hunting for a Tree

Aaron and our tree

Back on a snowy Saturday morning in early December, Aaron and I drove up to the town we grew up in to cut down and buy a tree at a local Christmas Tree farm. My Mom, Amy, Joe and Justin joined us in our hunt for a tree. With the snow falling and all the evergreens, it was quite picturesque. There was just a little but of snow on the ground – but it was enough for Justin to be pulled smoothly along in a sled, which he quite enjoyed. Blocks

Aaron and Justin playing with blocks

So, one of Justin’s favorite things to do now, is to play and build with blocks. Back in early December Aaron and I spent an evening with Amy, Joe and Justin. We went out to dinner together and then had a leisurely night, just hanging around and playing with Justin. As you can tell from these photos, a good portion of the evening was spent on the floor playing with blocks. Click on the image above to see the small album of photos.
